The .. Family Reunion was held on Saturday ... at Matamata to mark the 100 year centennial of John and Minnie.. settling at Te Poi. A large number of those attending went to visit the cemetery to view the work that had been carried out on the gravesites. Everyone was very happy with the work that had been done, especially the retaining and refurbishment of the old headstones. Hopefully this memorial will survive well into the next century. On behalf of the descendants of John and Minnie... we would like to thank you very much for job well done.

I viewed the headstone yesterday and it looks beautiful, can't thank you enough. On behalf of Miringa's whanau - thank you so much for making sure this could happen and supporting us along the way! It will be good together as a family on Saturday as we gather to commemorate over a s*** of a year!!! 😂 Onwards and upwards for us all!
